Shri Anil Swarup holds a Masters degree in Political Science from Allahabad University, where he was awarded the Chancellor's Gold medal for the best all-round student. He is presently posted as Secretary, Department of School Education and Literacy, Government of India. Before this assignment, in his capacity as Secretary, Ministry of Coal, he was instrumental in carrying out the auction of coal blocks that is likely to result in a revenue flow of around Rs. 3 Lakh Crore to the States. Shri Anil Swarup started his career in the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) in, 1981. Mr. Parameswaran Iyer, a former 1981 batch Uttar Pradesh cadre IAS officer, is a water & sanitation expert and has an experience of 20 years in the water supply and sanitation sector. Vineet and his wife Anupama Nayar founded Sampark Foundation in 2005 with an objective of improving learning outcomes of children studying in government schools in India through frugal innovation ideas delivered at scale. There are 144 million children in 700K government schools in India. More than 70% Children in Grade 5 cannot recognise numbers beyond 99. A poor learning outcome is certainly the biggest challenge in the Indian public school education system. Sampark Foundation decided to change this by leading one of the Largest Primary Education Transformation Initiative lead by a private foundation in the world. Today, we bring smiles to 7 million children across 76,000 primary government schools in Chhattisgarh, Uttarakhand and Jharkhand. After a year in this program, over 86% children in Grade 2 can solve addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division problems and form 100 sentences using 500 new English words. This was rightly termed as a ‘Revolution' by a Chief Minister who saw multifold increase in learning outcomes in just 2 years of the implementation of the statewide program.

As Director – Programmes and Advocacy for Oxfam India, Moutushi led the process of developing and making operational the vision and strategy for programme management. Before Oxfam, Moutushi worked with the Department for International Development (DFID) in India for over 15 years. During her stint with DFID, she worked on a diverse portfolio of programs and projects across the country, including livelihoods promotion, health, rural development, financial and governance reforms and enterprise development. Rishi Pathania is working with UPL Limited as Head of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) for UPL Group. He has around 17 years of rural development experience in different parts of the country. Prior to joining UPL, he was in charge of CSR at Tata Chemicals, Mithapur, Dist Jamnagar. Seema Tiwari joined Godrej & Boyce Mfg. Co. Ltd in 2011 as Head - Corporate Social Responsibility to drive Godrej Good & Green vision. Prior to this she started Embarq India, the sustainable transport India program, at World Resources Institute (WRI), a Washington DC think and do tank working on climate change. As the CEO of the Avantha Foundation, Yashashree is presently focused on two critical developmental issues. Sonia Shrivastava heads the Vodafone Foundation. Over a career spanning a couple of decades, Sonia has had a unique and rich cross-sectoral and entrepreneurial experience across both Indian and multinational companies as well as NGOs. Prior to joining Vodafone, she headed CSR at Intel, Moser Baer and ABB and has also worked for the development sector. She has a Bachelors in Science and an MBA in International Business. Kavita Anand leads on the school set up arm of Adhyayan – from the first stages of school planning through to providing support and self-review advice to the newly set up schools. As the head of Training and Development for Adhyayan she manages and conducts training programmes for teacher induction, school improvement and leadership and management. In addition to training school leaders in SSRE she carries out external validations of schools using the SSRE diagnostic. Mona is a PhD in the area of Computational Neuroscience and enjoys working both in the industry and academia. She has taught in several leading Institutes include IIT Delhi, Delhi Technical University, IIIT Delhi, and NSIT and continues to teach at IIT Delhi and IIIT Delhi. In industry she has worked on multimedia systems and building of video standards. She led the Industry-Academic relationships at STMicroelectronics and helped set up of a joint research lab with IIT Delhi, focused on building next generation multimedia platforms. Dr. Bhupendra is a Medical Doctor working in the Public Health landscape for more than 17 years. In his current role with the Gates Foundation, he supports the Indian government and various Partners on multiple health related projects. He has particularly valued the work of strengthening Routine Immunization Coverage with Equity, establishing online Adverse Events Following Immunization (AEFI) Surveillance System and initiatives to improve immunization in Urban setting. He is closely engaged with Govt. of India’s ‘Mission Indradhanush’ campaign for immunization and aims to achieve more than 90% Full Immunization Coverage nationally to reduce the vaccine preventable diseases in the country. As a NTD lead, Bhupendra is focused on strengthening the National Vector Borne Disease Control Program (NVBDCP) in India, with a goal to achieve Elimination of Lymphatic Filariasis disease from the country. He works with the Govt. & Partners to improve data management system at various levels. He aims to leverage the Polio legacy to improve the program implementation for Microfilaria Surveillance, Mass Drug Administration (MDA) and Transmission Assessment Surveys (TAS) across the country. He is also supporting the states of UP & Bihar to manage the JE/AES problem by establishing the ETCs (Encephalitis Treatment Centers) for early management of cases to reduce mortality and disability following the infection. Previously, he consulted UNICEF India Country Office for Measles vaccination campaign, worked on the USAID-funded Maternal and Child Health Integrated Program (MCHIP) for Routine Immunization, and supported WHO’s Polio Eradication Initiative in the high risk areas of India. As the Executive Director of IFMR LEAD, Sharon leads the strategic direction of the organization and provides technical, administrative, financial and strategic oversight to research, policy and capacity building engagements. She also has hands-on experience in research and analytics, and is a Principal Investigator on several IFMR LEAD studies. She has been with IFMR LEAD since 2008. Prior to joining IFMR LEAD, Sharon was an Economist with the Analysis Group in Montreal, Canada

Ajay’s interest in the livelihoods of small farmers made him spend significant time in the field identifying issues in agriculture that have resulted in low growth rates. Ajay co-founded Magasool in 2012, a not-for-profit initiative aimed at improving the lives of small and marginal farmers in Tamil Nadu. Magasool focuses on providing specialized agricultural inputs to farmers that translate into improved yields or decrease input costs. In addition, Ajay has been an Advisor to IFMR LEAD since February 2013. He joined IFMR LEAD as the Head of the Analytics Unit in January 2009. Between 2011 and 2013, he headed the erstwhile Centre for Microfinance at IFMR LEAD in an interim capacity.Ajay received his PhD in Astronomy and Astrophysics from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in 2008.

Smita Agarwal has worked in the field of elementary education for two decades. Most of her work has focussed on improving the conditions of schooling for the rural and urban poor. Her passion lies in achieving quality with scale, as well as developing effective classroom pedagogy for first generation learners. She has been part of large scale projects of the Government of India, such as Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, and has worked with state governments and NGOs across the country. She has authored a book titled “Locked Homes, Empty Schools� with a foreword by Nobel Laureate Prof Amartya Sen, on the issue of distress seasonal migration and its impact of the education of the rural poor. Currently she is heading the Education Program of Tata Steel CSR, and is based out of Jamshedpur.

(Indian Utility Vehicle Manufacturer) and worked in various areas of Marketing & Sales, including Overseas Markets (South East Asia). Snorre Westgaard is the Executive Director of Humana People to People India (HPPI). He is certified cloud architect/master trainer with 13+ years of vast experience in development, consulting & sales of cloud technologies. He has won many awards in his Microsoft journey and the recent one is Circle of Excellence – Gold Club Choice Award in World Wide Sales Specialist team for his outstanding work in cloud sales for fiscal year 17, it is one of the most prestigious award of Microsoft. He is self-motivated result oriented Individual with strong focus on technical leadership and teamwork with proven ability to work under high pressure & meet aggressive targets/deadlines with greatest level of customer & partner satisfaction. He is involved in many of Microsoft internal & external initiatives (Social Campaign, Mentor Startups, CPE Listening Circles) where he played critical role for success of great initiatives and it is all possible just because of his creativity & out-of-the-box thinking. Abhishek leads Banking Industry Marketing, Sustainability and CSR for Brillio Technologies. He brings along 10+ years of Marketing and 20+ years of experience in the Social Sector. He was handpicked by his CEO to setup the Sustainability and CSR framework of his company. He started his career with IBM as Business Analyst and later worked for Oracle Financial Services. Abhishek is a Social Media Expert and teaches Social Media Marketing at various institutions. He has run some of the most successful Social Media Campaigns globally. He has led community engagement projects to deliver Safe Drinking Water at Railway Stations, e-Learning/Digital Learning, Teach @ School, Stem Cells Registry, Disaster Management, 100+ Heart Surgeries for Children etc. Abhishek is an alumnus of IMT Ghaziabad and has done an executive program in Strategic CSR from IIM Bangalore and Digital and Social Media Marketing from ISB, Hyderabad.

Shrikant joined NASSCOM Foundation in September 2014. Since then, he has been responsible for the upward rise of the NASSCOM Foundation and has been able to develop a great team who works tirelessly to use ‘Technology for Good’ towards creating an inclusive India. 
 As the CEO, Shrikant looks over the entire operations and strategy for NASSCOM Foundation while directly controlling the different programs. Truly, a person with many hats, Shrikant’s extensive background in the skilling and education spaces significantly complements NASSCOM Foundation, especially in the National Digital Literacy Mission, Skills Initiative, Tech aided education, E-waste Management and Indian Public Library Movement among others. With a over 26 years of experience in education sector, Shrikant played a key role in the success of Aptech; starting in 1989, going on to become Senior General Manager for the company managing Latin America & Higher Education. Prior to joining NASSCOM Foundation, he was based out of Malaysia, as Head Corporate Learning, APAC and MENA, at GlobalNxt University (formerly Universitas 21 Global or U21Global), an Online Graduate School, helping thousands of people working in corporates across the Asia-pacific, Middle-east and North African regions with limited or no access to good quality academic opportunities.

Under the Chairmanship of the Hon'ble Chief Minister Shri Nara Chandrababu Naidu, Shri C Kutumba Rao is the Vice Chairman for Andhra Pradesh State Planning Board. The Board initiated, “People’s First� – a Citizens grievance redressal channel, a first of its kind in the country, focussed on monitoring implementation of government welfare schemes, and improving service delivery to the beneficiaries (through citizen satisfaction surveys). People’s First, also receives corruption related complaints from citizens, thereby ensuring a transparent and corruption free administration. Shri Kutumba Rao is a key member of State Level Committee that approves development projects eligible for matching grants from government in PPP mode. He is key member of the Agricultural Debt Redemption Committee which remains a leading example for implementation of farm loan waiver scheme for other states. He also serves as board member for several government agencies. Shri C Kutumba Rao has been an equity analyst for over 20 years. He regularly writes on financial markets in leading dailies and appears on several popular news channels. He is a graduate in Engineering and Law, with strong expertise in Corporate Finance and Security Laws. Elected to the board of The Hyderabad Stock Exchange, he networked with SEBI and other regulatory bodies for implementation of some key reforms in stock markets.

As the Vice President of Mission Investing at the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation, Geeta assumes functional responsibility for all impact investments done by the Foundation globally. Prior to this role, Geeta led the microfinance program of the Foundation. She has represented the Foundation on the boards of Ujjivan, Janalakshmi, Micro Housing Finance Corporation, Swadhaar and several others. She currently chairs the Impact Investors Council in India. Prior to joining the Foundation, Geeta spent 12 years with the Corporate Finance practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
