Vice President & Global CSR and Diversity and Inclusion Leader, Genpact India
Lavanya is the Global CSR and Diversity & Inclusion leader for Genpact whereshe leads programs that harness the energy and talent of the employees for the economic, social, and environmental betterment of the communities we live and work in. Her role as a D&I leader involves steering initiatives to create a gender balanced organization with 50% representation of women across all levels. Prior to her current role, Lavanya designed and implemented Genpact’s Contact Center Eco System, creating ‘I speak’, CAC and developed the training contact center model.
She has more than 18 years of work experience across Hiring, HR and Learning and Development domain. She specialized in creating hiring tools that map to job competencies; building learning and development plans to bridge the skill gap. In addition to this, Lavanya has also worked in the Luxury Retail and Education sector. She is a graduate in English Literature from Delhi University.
Professor Rai is an educationist – an alumnus of Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIMA) who has been teaching PG and Doctoral students at Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow (IIML) since 2006. He frequently conducts training programmes and workshops for executives as well as bureaucrats around the world. As the Convener of CAT 2010, he successfully led the largest format change in world’s testing history exceeding all global standards of testing. Through his initiatives gender and educational background parity was achieved by IIMs.
His profile includes a stint of over 8 years at Tata Steel, India, where he played a pivotal role in developing Quality Systems for his Departments and the Communication Policy for the Company. He has trained over 20,000 professionals, both in the private sector as well as the government. His personal focus is not just academic excellence but achieving it on the basis of ethics, integrity and a need for self-actualization.
Anjalli is a match-maker for social good. She’s an External Partnerships and Programmes Director with Unilever who helps marketing teams identify causes and design programmes that serve business objectives through smart partnerships. She conceived and launched Fair and Lovely Career Foundation, a mobile skilling and guidance platform for women in partnership with edX.org, English Edge,NIIT, idreamcareer.com and testbook.com. The platform serves over 400,000 women and she’s working on launching it in Pakistan, Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia and Indonesia.
An MBA from FMS Delhi and MPA from Harvard Kennedy School, Anjalli has spent 12 years serving diverse organizations through her stints in fund raising (Naandi Foundation), sustainability advisory (KPMG) and social impact consulting (Dalberg Global Development Advisors).Her philosophy is – Why try to save the world on your own when you’ll have a better chance and more fun if you tried with the right partners?
Parthasarathi likes to describe himself as a CSR professional with a passion for development and human excellence. A post graduate in social work from Delhi University and a diploma holder in CSR from University of Geneva he has rich experience of 15 years from both developmental and corporate sector. In his professional career in CSR sector he has worked in more than 12 states of India with GMR Foundation, Cairn India and at AkzoNobel India, where he is currently heading CSR. His passion for excellence and innovation has driven him to work in difficult geographic conditions of the country to help people lead a better and improved life. His work in community based potable water project in Rajasthan was covered by many national and international newspapers of India and Middle East.
A firm believer in boons of sharing knowledge he has contributed to various articles published in leading global CSR magazines like Ethical Corp and is also a guest speaker in the area of CSR at IIT Delhi and Delhi University.
